I am always looking for the (1) newest and the hottest (2) ways to save time and money and (3) an excuse to shop without the guilt. SWAGG has launched a new app that deals with the troublesome problem of how to deal with the overabundance of gift cards (I still have some from last holiday season!), loyalty & membership cards that clutter up your wallet or handbag–I joke that my key ring is mostly plastic! Basically you can load all those gift cards, loyalty points, etc into your iPhone or Android mobile device. Voila, now you can shop from your phone! Did I mention the app is free?
THE REAL DEAL REVIEW: I downloaded the SWAGG app on my iPhone. Would it save time and money? Would it be a worthwhile experience? The app touts “Hello, deals, Goodbye, plastic cards”. This is my type of app! I am ready to toss my plastic and manage all those cumbersome gift, loyalty, and membership cards. Hello lighter wallet and lighter key ring! Set-up is a breeze–literally took under five minutes including the email verification. Adding cards, adding my favorite stores, and finding great money-saving offers was equally as quick and painless. I really enjoyed
Another cool thing is that the app allows you to “give or get.” Wondering what to give your cousin or boss? You can give a gift card directly from your mobile device. You can also enter your zip code upon downloading and get offers that are redeemable at stores in your area. I can’t wait to use the offers next time at the check-out line or for my next online purchase. So drum roll please…PR DIVA approves of the SWAGG app! Thumbs up!
